Ketamine Queen has denied she knew Matthew Perry as trial date is set in death case

A federal judge in Los Angeles, California has set a trial date for March for two defendants implicated in the death of Friends star Matthew Perry.
Dr. Salvador Plasencia is accused of illegally selling ketamine to Perry a month before his death, and Jasveen Sangha, an alleged drug dealer accused of selling Perry a lethal dose of the same drug, have both pleaded not guilty.
A status conference initially scheduled for Wednesday in downtown Los Angeles has been removed from the calendar, according to ABC.
Court documents reveal that United States District Judge Sherilyn Garnett arranged a pretrial hearing in February and a trial for March 4 for both defendants.
Sangha, known as the “Ketamine Queen,” is currently in federal custody, while Dr. Plasencia is out on bond.
This comes as Jasveen’s attorney has denid she knew the Friends actor.
He said: “There’s no mystery, she isn’t connected to Matthew Perry at all.
“People try to make her out to be something that she isn’t but there’s a whole different side here and story to be told that will be told at her trial.”

The investigation into Perry’s death continues to expose the drug dealing underworld as police prepare for potential manslaughter charges.
Dr. Mark Chavez is set to plead guilty on October 2 to a federal charge of conspiring to distribute ketamine, according to the case details.
This San Diego physician happens to be one of three other defendants in Matthew’s case who have agreed to plea deals.
Last week, at an administrative hearing, Dr. Mark conceded to surrender his medical license in California.
Federal prosecutors in Los Angeles disclosed on August 15 charges against five defendants, which include Matthew’s assistant Kenneth Iwamasa.
Authorities discovered Matthew deceased in his hot tub on October 28, 2023, at his residence in Pacific Palisades, California, with the medical examiner citing ketamine as the primary cause of death.
ABC reports that “the actor had been using the drug through his regular doctor in a legal but off-label treatment for depression that has become increasingly common.”
